In Honor of Betty Hinshaw to support the Betty Hinshaw Bird Sanctuary

In 2022, Ms. Betty Hinshaw donated 25 acres of her family lands to Northwest Arkansas Land Trust for the creation of the Betty Hinshaw Bird Sanctuary. The Land Trust is currently restoring the Sanctuary to historic grassland and woodland habitat for the conservation of grassland bird species. Ms. Betty has left an incredible legacy of conservation and environmental stewardship for our future. We are forever grateful for her contribution to our region. All funds donated in honor of Ms. Betty will be earmarked for continuing management of the Sanctuary including habitat restoration and public access improvements.
